Going Live on Fansit

Live streaming on Fansit is similar to Chaturbate or TikTok Live — fans tip you in real time, you can build a tip menu, and you can ticket-gate private streams. Here's how to start broadcasting.

What you need

  • A verified creator account.
  • A device with a working camera and microphone — phone, laptop, or external webcam setup.
  • A stable internet connection — at least 5 Mbps upload for 720p, 10 Mbps for 1080p.
  • A well-lit space.
  • A clear frame for your stream (background, lighting, audio).

How to go live

  1. From the nav, tap Create → Go Live.
  2. Set your stream title — what fans will see in the live indicator and your profile.
  3. Pick stream type:
    • Public stream — anyone can join (subject to age verification).
    • Subscriber-only stream — only paid subscribers can join.
    • Private stream — ticket-gated, fans pay a one-time FanBucks fee to join.
  4. Set a tip menu if you want fans to tip for specific actions (see Setting Up a Tip Menu).
  5. Toggle Auto-record if you want the stream saved as a Stream Recording (more revenue post-stream).
  6. Tap Go Live.

The stream goes live immediately. Fans can join from your profile, the Explore page (live section), or push notifications.

During the stream

You'll see:

  • Live viewer count.
  • Chat panel with fan messages.
  • Tip notifications in real time.
  • Tip menu items as fans buy them.
  • Earnings counter for the session.

You can interact with chat by speaking to the camera, dropping content the chat asks for, or fulfilling tip-menu items.

Stream length

  • No hard limit — stream as long as you want.
  • Most successful streams run 30 minutes to 2 hours. Shorter feels rushed; longer loses engagement.
  • Take breaks — pause, hydrate, come back. Long streams without breaks crash performance.

What gets you in trouble

The same content rules apply to streams as to recorded content. See What Content Is Allowed and Content That Will Get You Banned.

Specifically for streams:

  • Every person on camera must be 18+ and consent.
  • No off-platform solicitation. Don't drop your Snapchat in the chat.
  • No real-name reveals unless you've consented to that.
  • No inducement of behavior outside Fansit.

What protects you

  • Streams are encrypted. Direct file capture is blocked.
  • Public streams are auto-recorded with creator consent (you can disable per stream).
  • Stream Recordings include forensic watermarks that identify the buyer in case of leaks.
  • The §2257 retention obligation is on Fansit — we keep records, you don't have to.

Ending the stream

Tap End stream. The stream stops, fans see "Live ended."

If you enabled auto-record, the Stream Recording is processed (usually 5–15 minutes) and appears in your vault. You can:

  • Publish it as a Stream Recording PPV at a price you set.
  • Send it as a DM PPV to specific fans.
  • Keep it private in the vault.

Earning during streams

Streaming as an AI Creator

AI Creators streaming must:

  • Keep the AI label visible throughout the stream.
  • Apply the same identity and likeness rules as recorded content.
  • Disclose voice clones, real-time face transformations, etc.

See AI Disclosure Rules.
