What Content Is Allowed on Fansit

Fansit allows a wide range of content, including adult content. Here's what's permitted, what's restricted, and what's banned.

Allowed without restriction

  • Non-adult creative content — art, music, writing, photography, fitness, cooking, education.
  • Behind-the-scenes — personal vlogs, day-in-the-life content.
  • Commissioned work — custom photo and video as long as all parties consent.
  • Streaming — public and private live streams.

Allowed with adult-content rules

Adult content is permitted on Fansit. To post it, you must:

  • Be 18 or older with completed KYC.
  • Confirm that every person depicted is 18 or older with documented consent.
  • Comply with §2257 recordkeeping — Fansit maintains the records on your behalf when you upload.
  • Apply accurate content warnings and tags.

The full §2257 disclosure is at legal.fansit.com/usc-2257.

Restricted

These categories are allowed but with extra requirements or limits:

  • Co-authored content (two or more creators) — both creators must be verified and consent must be on file. See Co-Authored Content Policy.
  • Content depicting another adult who isn't a Fansit creator — requires a model release and Form W-9 / W-8BEN equivalent for the non-creator participant.
  • Outdoor / public-space content — must comply with local public-decency laws of the jurisdiction where it was filmed.
  • Branded merchandise promotion — must clearly disclose paid sponsorships per FTC guidelines.

Banned (zero tolerance)

These categories are absolutely prohibited. Posting any of them results in immediate, permanent termination and reporting to law enforcement and NCMEC where applicable:

  • CSAM — any depiction of a minor in a sexualized context, including age-play roleplay or AI content that mimics a minor.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery — recording, sharing, or threatening to share content of any individual without their documented consent.
  • Sex trafficking / human trafficking — content promoting or facilitating either.
  • Bestiality.
  • Real, non-consensual violence — torture, assault, or content that appears to depict an unwilling participant.

Other prohibited content

Beyond zero-tolerance categories:

  • Content infringing intellectual-property rights you don't own.
  • Illegal goods (drugs, weapons, stolen goods) — promoting, depicting, or facilitating sale.
  • Doxxing — sharing another person's private information.
  • Self-harm / suicide / eating-disorder promotion.
  • Hate speech, harassment, threats.
  • Impersonation of another person, brand, or entity.

For the full enforceable list, read the Acceptable Use Policy. For tone and community standards, read the Community Guidelines.

What about AI content?

AI-generated content is allowed under the same rules as human-shot content plus the AI disclosure rules:

  • Profile must be designated as an AI Creator.
  • Every post and every individual piece of content must be labeled.
  • AI depictions of real people require documented consent.

See AI Content Rules.

What if I'm not sure?

When in doubt, don't post. Email legal@fansit.com with a description of the content (don't attach the file) and we'll give you a yes/no within 1 business day.

Posting borderline content and finding out later it's a violation can cost you the account.
