Creating Your Fan Account
Signing up takes about a minute. Here's the whole flow.
Step by step
- Go to fansit.com and click Sign Up.
- Enter your email address and pick a password (12+ characters, mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).
- Pick a username — this is what other fans and creators see. You can change it later.
- Confirm you're 18 or older.
- Click Create Account.
You'll be signed in immediately. You can start browsing creators right away — no payment info needed until you decide to subscribe, tip, or unlock content.
What's next
A few things you'll probably want to do once you're in:
- Set a profile picture and display name so creators can recognize you. Go to Settings → My Profile.
- Browse Explore to find creators — see Finding Creators You'll Love.
- Buy your first FanBucks when you're ready to subscribe or tip — see Buying FanBucks.
- Turn on two-factor authentication for extra account security — see Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication.
What you don't need to do
You don't need to:
- Use your real name. A username is enough.
- Verify your age with an ID unless you live somewhere that requires age verification for adult content. See Age Verification for Fans.
- Add a payment method until you're ready to spend.
Trouble signing up?
- "This email is already in use" — you (or someone else) already has an account with that email. Try logging in or use the password reset flow.
- "Username unavailable" — try a variation. Usernames are unique platform-wide.
- Verification email didn't arrive — check your spam folder. If it's not there in 5 minutes, request a new one from the login screen.
