Fansit's Refund Policy
Fansit is lenient on refunds — unusually so for an adult-content platform. Here's the policy in plain language.
All refunds are issued as FanBucks credits
When we approve a refund, the FanBucks come back to your wallet. We do not refund cash to your card except in cases of fraud or unauthorized account access.
This is intentional. FanBucks credits keep the money inside the Fansit ecosystem, where you can use it on any creator. Cash refunds would force us to be much stricter about what we approve.
What's eligible for a refund
We'll generally approve a refund if:
- The content didn't load, was broken, or was meaningfully different from what was advertised.
- A subscription was billed after a creator stopped posting for an extended period.
- A duplicate transaction was created by a network error or processor retry.
- Unauthorized account access — your account was used by someone else without permission.
- A creator's account was removed by Fansit during your active subscription — pro-rated automatically.
- A Private Stream you bought never happened and wasn't rescheduled.
What's not eligible
- Tips. Tips are voluntary gratuities. They're non-refundable once sent.
- PPV content you successfully viewed. If the content loaded and you watched it, it's not eligible — even if you didn't enjoy it.
- Subscription periods you've used. If you watched the subscriber feed for two weeks then asked for a refund of that month, you'll get a partial credit at most.
- Buyer's remorse. Changing your mind about a purchase is not grounds for a refund.
How long you have
You can dispute any transaction in your wallet for 30 days from the original transaction date. Disputes filed after 30 days are reviewed case-by-case but more likely to be declined.
How to dispute
Open the Wallet, find the transaction, tap Dispute, and explain the issue. We respond within 3 business days.
For the full step-by-step, see How to Dispute a Transaction.
What happens if you dispute through your bank instead
Filing a chargeback with your bank when you should have used Fansit's dispute flow:
- Costs the creator the disputed amount plus a $20 or 5% fee.
- Costs Fansit a chargeback fee from the processor.
- Triggers an account review on your end.
- Repeated bad-faith chargebacks can get your Fansit account permanently banned.
Always try the in-platform dispute first. We resolve them faster than your bank, you stay in good standing, and you don't put the creator in the red. See Chargebacks vs Disputes.
What about subscriptions when a creator leaves?
If Fansit removes a creator's account during your active subscription period, the unused portion is automatically refunded to your wallet as FanBucks credit. You don't need to file a dispute — it happens automatically. See What Happens If a Creator Deletes Their Account.
