What Happens If a Creator Deletes Their Account?
Creators can leave Fansit voluntarily, or Fansit can remove them for policy violations. Here's what happens to your subscriptions, PPV, and tips when either occurs.
Subscriptions
- Auto-renewal stops immediately.
- The unused portion of your current period is refunded to your wallet as a FanBucks credit. This is automatic — you don't have to file a dispute.
- The credit equals the unused days × the daily-equivalent of your subscription price. If you paid 600 FB for a monthly sub and the creator leaves halfway through, you get 300 FB back.
PPV content you've already bought
- Stays accessible. This is the lifetime PPV access guarantee.
- You can find it in Profile → Purchases any time.
- If Fansit removes the creator for a content violation that affects the specific PPV you bought, the FanBucks come back as a credit and access is revoked.
Stream Recordings you've bought
- Stay accessible for the same lifetime guarantee. Same Profile → Purchases tab.
Tips
- Not refundable. Tips are voluntary gratuities and stay with the creator's earnings (subject to any holdback for chargebacks or fraud review).
- The only exception is unauthorized account access. If your account was used to send tips without your permission, file a dispute through the wallet.
DMs and chat history
- DM threads stay in your inbox even after the creator leaves.
- The creator can no longer message you.
- You can no longer message them.
Custom content requests
- In-progress requests are cancelled and the FanBucks come back to your wallet automatically.
- Completed requests are governed by lifetime PPV access — you keep the content.
The creator might come back
Voluntarily-deleted accounts can be reactivated within 30 days. If the creator returns within that window:
- Your subscription stays cancelled (auto-renewal doesn't restart).
- Your PPV access is unaffected (you still have it).
- You can re-subscribe if you want.
After 30 days, the deletion is permanent and the username is released.
When Fansit removes a creator for cause
If we remove a creator for a zero-tolerance violation (CSAM, non-consensual content, fraud at scale), additional things may happen:
- Specific content removed for the violation may be deleted from your purchases.
- You'll get a notification explaining the removal scope.
- Refunds for affected content are processed automatically.
Other content from that creator that wasn't part of the violation is unaffected — you keep access.
