How to Post Content

Fansit supports several content types. Here's how to publish each.

Content types

| Type | Use for | |---|---| | Photo | Single image or carousel (up to 10) | | Video | Short clips, longer content, montages | | Audio | Voice notes, music, audio drama | | Text | Long-form posts, announcements, polls | | Livestream | Real-time broadcast (see Going Live) |

Universal flow

  1. Tap Create in the nav.
  2. Pick the content type.
  3. Add the file or compose the post.
  4. Add a caption.
  5. Choose visibility.
  6. Set a PPV price (if applicable).
  7. Post.

Visibility options

Every post has one of three visibility settings:

  • Public — anyone can see, even non-subscribers. Use for hooks, free previews, announcements.
  • Subscriber-only — only active subscribers see. Use for the bulk of your subscriber feed.
  • PPV (Pay-per-view) — anyone sees a blurred preview, paying fans unlock the full content. Use for premium content you want to monetize individually.

You can convert between visibility types after posting (e.g., move a post from PPV to subscriber-only after a launch window).

Photo specifics

  • Up to 10 images per post.
  • Recommended resolution: 2048px on the long edge.
  • Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC.
  • Carousel posts are great for sets and behind-the-scenes.

Video specifics

  • Max single video length: 60 minutes (longer if PPV).
  • Max file size: 4 GB.
  • Supported formats: MP4, MOV, WebM.
  • Videos are transcoded after upload — wait for "Processing complete" before previewing.
  • Recommended bitrate: 8–12 Mbps for 1080p.

Audio specifics

  • Max length: 60 minutes.
  • Supported formats: MP3, M4A, WAV.
  • Audio posts work great as PPV — fans pay to unlock voice content.

Text posts

  • Up to 5,000 characters.
  • Supports basic formatting (bold, italic, links).
  • Good for polls, announcements, AMAs.

Saving as draft

If you want to come back later:

  1. Compose the post.
  2. Tap Save as draft instead of Post.
  3. Find drafts in Settings → Drafts.

Scheduling

You can schedule a post for a future time:

  1. Compose normally.
  2. Tap Schedule instead of Post.
  3. Pick the date and time.
  4. Confirm.

The post publishes at the scheduled time. You can edit or delete a scheduled post any time before it goes live.

Editing after posting

You can edit the caption and visibility after posting. You cannot edit the media files themselves — to swap an image or video, delete the post and create a new one.

Deleting a post

Tap the More icon on a post → Delete. Note: fans who already paid for PPV access keep their copy in their Purchases tab. (See Lifetime PPV Access.)

Posting AI content

If any portion of the content is AI-generated or AI-assisted, you must:

  • Have an AI Creator designation on your account.
  • Label the post as containing AI content.
  • Label every individual file in the post.

See AI Disclosure Rules for the full requirements.
