Blocking a Creator
Blocking a creator removes them from your feed and prevents them from messaging you.
How to block
- Go to the creator's profile.
- Tap the More icon (three dots, top right).
- Tap Block @username.
- Confirm.
Blocking is immediate and one-way — they don't get notified.
What blocking does
- The creator no longer appears in your feed, Explore, or search results.
- The creator can no longer send you DMs.
- The creator can no longer see your profile.
- Existing DM thread with the creator is hidden from your inbox (not deleted).
What blocking does NOT do
- Cancel your subscription. If you're currently subscribed, blocking does not refund or cancel the subscription. To cancel, see How to Cancel a Subscription before blocking.
- Refund any tips, PPV, or subscription payments. Blocking is not a financial action.
- Remove your purchases. PPV content you've bought from the creator stays accessible in your Purchases tab.
How to unblock
- Settings → Blocked Accounts.
- Find the creator.
- Tap Unblock.
After unblocking, you can interact with them again as before.
Reporting vs blocking
- Block is for "I don't want to see this creator." It's a personal preference action.
- Report is for "this creator violated platform rules." Reports go to Fansit's safety team for review.
For violation-level issues, also report to abuse@fansit.com — see Reporting Abuse.
If a creator blocks you
You'll see a placeholder message ("This creator is unavailable") on their profile. Most platform features (subscribing, tipping, DMing) won't work. You can still see content you've already bought — that's protected by lifetime PPV access.
