Completing Your Fan Profile

Your fan profile is what creators see when you subscribe, tip, or message them. You don't need to share anything personal — but a recognizable username and avatar make it easier for creators to engage with you.

What to set

Go to Settings → My Profile and update:

  • Display name — your visible name. Doesn't have to match anything official.
  • Username — your unique handle, prefixed with @. Used for search and DMs.
  • Avatar — square image. Anything you're comfortable having seen publicly.
  • Bio — optional, up to 1,000 characters.

Fan profiles don't include location or website fields. Those are creator-only.

What's not visible

  • Your real name (we don't ask).
  • Your email address.
  • Your payment information.
  • Your geographic location (we know your IP for fraud prevention, but creators don't see it).
  • Your spending history with any specific creator.

For more on what creators can and can't see about you, read What Creators Can See About You.

Notification preferences

Also in Settings, set your notification preferences:

  • Push notifications for new posts, messages, and live streams.
  • Email notifications for receipts and account activity.
  • Marketing emails — entirely opt-in. Turn them off any time.

See Notification Preferences for the full list.
