Browsing Fansit Anonymously

Fansit is built so that fans can use the platform without revealing their real identity. You don't have to use your real name, share personal details, or expose your contact info to creators.

What's anonymous by default

  • Your username can be anything you want. We never require it to match a real name.
  • Your display name is also up to you.
  • Your email address is private and never shown to creators.
  • Your real name is never collected at signup.
  • Your payment information is never shown to creators or to other fans.
  • Your geographic location is not visible to creators (Fansit knows your IP for fraud prevention, but it's not exposed).
  • Your spending history is not visible to other fans.

What creators can see

  • Your username and display name.
  • Your avatar if you've set one.
  • Your bio if you've written one.
  • Any messages, comments, or tips you've sent them.
  • Whether you're currently subscribed.

That's it. Creators don't see your real name, email, payment details, IP, or what other creators you support.

For more, see What Creators Can See About You.

How to maximize privacy

If you want minimum exposure:

  1. Pick a generic username — not your social media handle, not your real name.
  2. Use a generic avatar — not a photo of yourself.
  3. Leave your bio empty.
  4. Use a dedicated email address for Fansit — your bank statement doesn't say "Fansit" (it shows PERSONA PAYMENTS), but a separate email keeps the platform out of your main inbox.
  5. Use a card with a generic billing address if you really want to disconnect Fansit from your primary identity.

What's required for age verification

If you're in a U.S. state or country that requires age verification, you'll need to upload a government ID for Incode to verify. Incode is a third-party verification provider — Fansit does not see or store your ID document. Only a yes/no result and the metadata required by §2257 are kept.

For details, see Age Verification for Fans.

Anonymous tips

There's no "anonymous" tip mode. Your username is always visible to the creator with every tip. If you want minimal exposure, use a generic username.

Off-platform contact

You're never required to share off-platform contact info (Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc.) with a creator. If a creator requests it, that's their choice — there's no obligation on your side. Off-platform interactions are at your sole risk and are not protected by Fansit's policies.
