ACH Payouts to Your Bank

Fansit pays out via ACH (Automated Clearing House) bank transfer to your verified U.S. bank account. Here's how to set it up and what to expect.

What you need

  • A U.S. checking or savings account in your verified legal name (must match your KYC).
  • Bank routing number (9 digits, on the bottom-left of a check).
  • Account number (varies in length, on the bottom of a check).
  • Bank name.

We don't currently support payouts to international banks, prepaid debit cards, or virtual bank accounts.

How to add your bank

  1. Settings → Payouts → Bank Account.
  2. Tap + Add bank account.
  3. Enter your bank routing number, account number, and account type (checking or savings).
  4. Confirm.
  5. We'll send a small micro-deposit (a few cents) to verify the account in 1–2 business days.
  6. Once you confirm the micro-deposit amount, the bank is verified and ready for payouts.

Why we verify

The micro-deposit confirms:

  • The routing and account numbers are correct.
  • You actually have access to the account (you can see the deposit).
  • The bank accepts ACH transfers (some restricted accounts don't).

You only verify once per account. After that, payouts go directly without the verification step.

How long payouts take

Once a payout is initiated:

  • Standard ACH: 1–3 business days to land in your bank account.
  • Same-day ACH: not currently supported.
  • Wire transfers: not currently supported.

Banks process ACH on business days only — no weekends or U.S. federal holidays.

What if a payout fails?

Common reasons a payout can fail:

  • Bank account closed or frozen.
  • Routing number incorrect.
  • Bank rejected the deposit (rare, usually a name-mismatch issue).
  • Account doesn't accept ACH credits (some specialty accounts).

If a payout fails, we'll:

  1. Notify you by email.
  2. Return the funds to your available balance.
  3. Pause auto-payouts until you fix the bank info.

You can update or replace your bank account from Settings → Payouts → Bank Account.

Multiple bank accounts

You can save multiple bank accounts and pick which one is the default. This is useful if you have:

  • A business bank account for creator earnings.
  • A personal account as a backup.

Name matching

The name on your bank account must match your verified legal name. If they don't match, the payout will be rejected by your bank.

If your legal name has changed (marriage, divorce, court order):

  1. Update your ID with the new name.
  2. Re-verify with Incode.
  3. Update the bank account info to match.
  4. Future payouts go to the new account.

ACH return reasons

If your bank returns a payout, you'll get a code from the bank in the failure email:

  • R01 — Insufficient funds (rare for incoming ACH; usually means the account is closed).
  • R02 — Account closed.
  • R03 — No account / unable to locate.
  • R04 — Invalid account number.
  • R07 — Authorization revoked.
  • R10 — Customer advises unauthorized.

For any return code, check the account info, fix it, then retry from your wallet.

Tax forms and bank info

If you change your bank account name or your ID after a 1099-K is issued, you may need to file a corrected W-9 with us. Email support@fansit.com to coordinate.

Currency

All payouts are in U.S. dollars. If your bank account is in USD, no conversion fee. If your bank account is at a U.S. branch of an international bank, the funds arrive in USD.

We don't offer multi-currency payouts.
