Using the Vault
The Vault is your content storage on Fansit. It's where every piece of content you upload lives — whether you've already posted it or you're saving it for later. The vault makes it easy to reuse, organize, and reschedule content without re-uploading.
What goes in the vault
- Photos, videos, and audio you upload directly to the vault.
- Photos, videos, and audio attached to posts (automatically copied to the vault).
- PPV content unlocked by fans (kept in the vault for your reference).
- Custom-content deliverables.
Custom folders
Folders let you organize the vault any way that works for you:
- By topic —
Beach,Home shoot,Workout. - By month —
Apr 2026,May 2026. - By status —
Drafts,Posted,Hold for later. - By client — separate folder for each custom-content commission.
To create a folder:
- Open Vault from the nav.
- Tap + New folder.
- Name it.
- Drag content into it (or tap a piece of content → Move to folder).
Folders are creator-only — fans never see them.
Drag-and-drop
Vault supports drag-and-drop on desktop:
- Drag files into the vault to upload them.
- Drag content between folders to organize.
- Drag content from the vault directly into the post composer or message composer.
On mobile, use the long-press → Move to folder menu.
Reusing content in posts
When composing a new post, tap the Vault icon in the composer to attach existing vault content instead of uploading new. This is the fastest way to:
- Repost old content with a new caption.
- Build PPV bundles from existing assets.
- Send the same content as a DM attachment to multiple fans.
Reusing content in DMs
In any DM thread, tap the Vault icon next to the send button. Pick the content. Send.
This is especially useful for:
- Sending PPV unlocks to specific fans.
- Sharing free preview content with new subscribers via auto-welcome.
- Replying to custom-content questions with examples.
Bulk operations
Select multiple items in the vault to:
- Move to a folder.
- Delete.
- Tag.
- Download original files.
Storage limits
Vault storage is generous but not unlimited. Most creators never come close. Hard limits:
- No file count limit.
- Total size cap of several hundred GB per account (raised on request for high-volume creators).
- Max single file size of 4 GB.
If you hit your storage cap, contact support@fansit.com for a quota increase.
What's NOT in the vault
- Live streams that weren't recorded.
- Text-only posts (these are stored separately).
- Fan-uploaded content in DMs (you can save these manually if you want).
Vault privacy
Vault content you haven't posted is private to you. No fan, no other creator, and no Fansit staff member sees vault content unless you've posted it or attached it to a DM.
