Joining Private Streams

A Private Stream is a live stream a creator has gated behind a one-time FanBucks price. Only fans who pay the entry fee can join.

How to join

  1. The creator announces or schedules the Private Stream from their profile.
  2. The post will say "Private Stream — X FanBucks to join".
  3. Tap Buy access.
  4. Confirm with FanBucks.
  5. You're added to the access list immediately.

When the stream goes live, you can join from the creator's profile or from your notifications.

What you get

  • Full live access to the stream.
  • Ability to tip and unlock tip-menu items.
  • Chat with the creator and other ticketed fans.
  • Lifetime access to the Stream Recording (if the creator chooses to publish one) — same lifetime PPV guarantee.

What you don't get

  • Refund if you can't make the live time. The Stream Recording (if published) is your fallback.
  • Resale or transfer to another fan. Tickets are personal.

When the recording is available

If the creator enables Stream Recording for the Private Stream, it'll appear in your DMs or as an unlocked post on the creator's profile after the stream ends — usually within 30 minutes.

If you joined the live and it was archived, you don't pay again to access the recording. The original ticket covers both.

Common questions

What if the creator doesn't show up? If the announced live doesn't happen and isn't rescheduled within 7 days, you can dispute the transaction from your wallet for a FanBucks credit refund.

What if the stream cuts off early? Streams that cut off due to creator-side technical issues are not refundable unless the creator never returns. Dispute through the wallet if the experience was meaningfully broken.

Can I attend anonymously? Your username is visible to the creator and other paid attendees. There's no anonymous mode for private streams.
