$50 Minimum Payout Threshold
Fansit's minimum payout amount is $50 USD — equivalent to about 16,667 FanBucks at the current cash-out rate.
If your available balance is below $50, no payout is initiated. The balance rolls forward to the next cycle.
Why a minimum
ACH bank transfers cost us a fixed processor fee per transfer regardless of amount. Below $50, those fees become disproportionate to the value of the payout.
Most creator-platform minimums are $20–$100 — we picked $50 as a reasonable middle ground.
How it works in practice
- Manual schedule: the Withdraw button is disabled until your available balance hits $50.
- Weekly schedule: if Friday rolls around and your available balance is below $50, the payout is skipped. We try again next Friday.
- Monthly schedule: if the 1st of the month arrives and your available balance is below $50, payout is skipped. We try again on the next 1st.
The balance doesn't "expire." It rolls forward indefinitely until it crosses the threshold.
What if I never hit $50?
If you earn very small amounts and never hit $50, the balance just keeps rolling. Eventually it'll cross the line and trigger a payout. There's no expiration on FanBucks.
If you really need access to a sub-$50 balance, the only option is to:
- Earn more. Post, promote, hit $50.
- Spend the FanBucks on Fansit yourself as a fan — you can subscribe to other creators or unlock content. (Most creators don't do this, but it's an option.)
Pending vs available
The $50 minimum only applies to your available balance, not your pending balance. Pending FanBucks have to mature through the 10-day hold before counting toward the threshold.
This means a creator with $300 in pending and $30 in available cannot withdraw until enough of the pending matures into available.
Pre-minimum earnings
For brand-new creators in their first month, earning $50 in available balance can take a few weeks:
- Week 1: all earnings are in pending.
- Week 2: still mostly pending.
- Day 11+: earnings start clearing into available.
- Cumulative available crosses $50 at some point in week 2–4 for most active creators.
Adjusting the threshold
The $50 minimum is fixed for everyone. We don't currently allow custom thresholds.
If you have a specific business need that requires a higher or lower threshold, contact support@fansit.com with details — we evaluate case-by-case but don't usually adjust.
What if I close my account with $20 in available?
Below-threshold balances at account closure are forfeited to Fansit. We don't process payouts under $50, even one-time exceptions, because the processor fees would consume most of the value.
This is one reason to wait until you've built up an above-threshold balance before closing your account.
